Travel between cities and across borders is one of the most common behaviors, the continuing exodus of communities involves not only the pleasure and tourism, but as goals, seeking a better quality of life based on education and the economy, or in extreme cases involves seeking refuge and asylum.
In my case, as a visual artist, travel has become the work itself. Any creative process is in response to the direct influence of where I live, where I am or where i transit.
Interest in tackling the trip as an artistic work in different ways, such as photography and video is not only based on observation and interpretation of the movements and spatial and temporal displacements but also the need to adapt the changes that contemporary art have, around the tools that facilitate the integration of necessary information for the artistic work, as the recognition of new spaces, new forms of creation that mutate and become indispensable for the development of artistic processes. As more as i found transient proceses of artwork, appears necessary elements to undertake new and comprehensive models created between time, space and drift.self-productionself-distributionclip Vénus en poils2mn50 color dolby stereo 2011 Franceby Yves-Marie MahéManipulation with an extract of Paul Morrissey's "Trash" (1970) with Joe Dallesandro.
