"(...) I AM COMING FOR ART OF SMOKE OF SEWER WINTER MOUTHS. I AM FOR AN ART THAT BREAKS WHEN WALKING ON FROZEN slush. I AM FOR ART WORMS IN APPLE. I AM FOR THE ART OF SWEAT THAT IS BORN BETWEEN TWO LEGS CROSSED (...). I AM FOR AN ART POLITICOÉROTICO-MYSTICAL THING THAT MAKES ANOTHER TO REMAIN ON HER ASS IN A MUSEUM. I AM FOR AN ART THAT MIXES THE DAILY AND SHIT THAT EXTRACT. I AM FOR AN ART THAT IMIT MAN, THAT IS COMIC IF NECESSARY OR VIOLENT (...) ". Claes Oldenburg "DEAR" I do not know how to present "Dear" I think the term of art "politicoéroticomystique" I footprint to Claes Oldenburg can be used to present. " "Dear" or as "dear", "expensive", "darling" address is someone enjoyed in respectful terms, "dear you ..." appears letterhead and assumes either the distance between callers or the evocation of a subject that orality could not bear. In "Dear," the character is alone for the scene. The character of this solitude is not accustomed, he continues to maintain a relationship with his / her "dear" missing). There is something comic and grotesque at the same time to maintain this relationship with partner is lacking in the scene. Coitus / flat I think that is the fundamental lack of respect "Dear" and that he / she makes political accents in the great misery of its shape. The art is missing. It is the decline.

ANA is an experimental video about the darker zones of the Internet. It is a moodboard of the imagery shared by underground communities exposing their self-destruction: more precisely pro-ana/pro-mia (pro-anorexia and pro-bulimia). From those extremities is a discourse about modern day mortification and the spectacle of self-hatred enabled by web communication. Real physical performances re-enact visuals found on hidden forum and social media accounts. They are linked together by the thread of creepypasta (the web answer to an urban legend), going progressively deeper… These performances were remixed to represent the aesthetic of Internet culture. Glitch art, analogic distortion, selfies, references to occultism and others are integrated in the discourse. Video artefacts are voluntary. The spectator takes the place of an individual investigating the disappearance of several female identities from the Internet. The missing women appear in encrypted and hidden videos over the web, leading the protagonist in an esoteric puzzle he tries to decipher.

The main theme of the video is the dualism blind/perspicuous, which through texts, images and thoughts about body, conscience and world, resolves itself in the final image, an illuminated stone, a glass allegory and the mere seeming possibility of discovering life and clarity in the black of matter. That brute matter be self-conscious is exactly a logical mistake, obscene in the meaning it has to be out of the scene; it's not a rhetorical paradox, it is exactly an error. A question seems to join: why is this error beautiful?

Today still, it retains a very large ritual importance. It was later on that the peyotl appeared, plant allowing to reconnect with the blue deer. The animation diverts this technique to illustrate the way in which our understanding of natural phenomena that is imperceptible to the eye rests on fragmentary information, representations, and hallucinatory associations.

Europe is like a "site specific" where there is a juxtaposition of the physical space, the geopolitical space and network virtual media. A journey through sound and image processing referencing filmic imagery of the cultural construction of Europe, imagery that contrasts with the “visual” content of moving images which are extracted from the virtual network of those crossing the borders of Europe “without permission” (Melilla, 2014). In turn, such images are interfered with by visual noise from a “TV” without broadcast. As a found-footage piece I recompose the image no longer with the “matter” of the film, but with pixels of the media that mediate us. I experimented with the materiality of the rhythmic interferences that textualize the image, transforming the “objective” media perspectives into “subjective” auteur perspectives that ironically play with visual and audible “noise” to deconstruct the memory judgments of the informational present. P.D. ODE Europe is a Work posthumously dedicated to all those who have died crossing our borders...

They are as the graphic charts in motion, that become (paradoxically) invisible the tangible reality of what they represent behind the informational codes ready to be scattered through the visual network insensitive to the "senses." These codes reveal parts of source images together with sound quickly recognize and gives them meaning. Sounds that speak directly to our "emotional body" and will cause "feelings" from "senses" to return to "feel" the cold-date information in the world in which we live. A video poem about Angeline Neveu's poetry during her Montreal period, during which the author of French origin experienced Quebec's rigorous winters, hence the title "De passion et de glace". Angeline Neveu was absolutely passionate. It is easy to recognize this in the interpretation of "Femme d’absolu" by Gisèle Poupart in the video. Angeline Neveu, French poet and activist and the only woman in the "Enragee de Nanterre" in May 1968, unfortunately left us in October 2011. This video attempts to honour this wonderful woman and her poetry published by "les Écrits des Forges".

In the center of Hamburg, a man walks with a ladder which he leans against an old street light to pour a package of flour over its roof. The flour flutters to the sidewalk for a brief moment, before the man leaves the scene of the event again. The flour is a gift to unknown persons, a gesture of generosity. While in french language „fleur de farine“ means extremely fine flour, in English language "flour" and "flower" sound confusingly similar. By inversion of words, by breaking with linguistic requirements, things changes the attributes and the distribution of flour becomes a gesture of generosity. Benjamin Yavuzsoy's performance video is dedicated to the work "With Magritte" (Year: 1993) by Eran Schaerf, on which Rene Magritte's drawing "The man with the rose" can be seen.

In this surreal and disorienting landscape, nothing is what it seems. The band is forced to confront their paradoxical surroundings and somehow make sense of the absurd in order to find their way back to the reality they have come to think of as "real". But what is real? EMOCEAN is the debut experimental sci-fi music film by Berlin based band Fenster. The film, shot mostly on VHS and produced for under 10,000 Euros, was written, directed, edited, co-produced, starring, co-shot and accompanied by a full motion picture soundtrack by the band.

"Insular" inquires on the concept of physical relocating as an act of resistance and transformation. The metaphor of the insular as an isolated place makes the rebelliousness of confronting adversity implicit, materialized as a barrier that entails any kind of migration. This way, the symbolism of home as an inherent element to human condition and its adaptability to new spaces becomes visible, even if these denote a hardship to overcome.

If they want to stay legally in the country for more than 3 months they have to go to the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta or Melilla to have their passports stamped. Many Europeans live in Morocco for years doing that simple trip to Ceuta every month. When I was in Morocco for 6 months I also went to Ceuta to have my passport and my daughter’s stamped to stay longer in the country. These images were taken in Ceuta one Sunday. I had a camera and filmed. Before I crossed the border between Morocco and Spain I looked around me into the hills. I saw migrants looking at the borders from the top of the hill. I realised that they live in those hills, in the woods for weeks or even years: waiting. Waiting for the right time to cross.

Copyrights are neglected, the purposes of those who are neglected are usurped and (im)possible truths are tested. Thus, Mónica’s Portrait isn’t intended as an inflexible document – which informs and certifies –, but rather as an audiovisual montage able to suggest the inevitable and multiple identity of things: of sound, of image and of mankind.

The island as a symbol of anonymity, the center of nothingness or a non-place. The relationship generated between the own environment against what is not known, suggests a series of questions without answers due to the inability to see beyond our own perspective. The idea of “island” creates a panorama showing two distant points, each one producing its own sense of fiction and reality. This way, emphasis is made on the concept of the isolated as a territory where utopic thinking functions as ideology, limiting what can be seen to only that which is at hand.

Oil, ghost towns and dust devils are aligned as tropes of climate change. Tornado-like dust devils, as canaries in the coal mine, are increasingly common in hot, barren deserts and in drought stricken areas of the world. I imagined spilling flower petals into the path of dust devil so that it would create a colourful vortex of swirling petals. I recently found a few dust devils during each of my 3 trips to the California desert, but they are fast, dissipate quickly and mostly too far off the road to catch…always just ahead of my car. When I was ready to give up looking after my third desert trip and was focusing my camera on abandoned school, a well-formed small dust devil appeared about 10 meters to my right.

I start from a rereading of Alain Resnais' documentary "Toute la mémoire du monde" to reflect on the different ways in which collective memories were stored in the past and at present. In the documentary, Resnais shows us the tangible, laborious process of the building’s stomach when it swallows, distributes and classifies all documentation coming into the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. This contrasts with the rapid distribution of information and documents in the present, when before they are catalogued, they have already been spread out worldwide. This way, at the moment an event is taking place, it has already been established as an intangible collective memory of the present.

Sans titre (attraction) is a ‘dance’ performance shot in video with three cameras in a long take. Taking her experience as a dancer as a point of departure, the artist has sought to capture in all its complexity the instant when the body yields to its own weight and then regains its composure. In the seeming motionlessness of the beginning, the body’s ‘mechanical’ infra slowly reveals itself to our gaze. The dancer then leaves the balance of verticality to undergo the risk of unbalance and falling.

"Summerland" is a territory where human beings and animals are exchanging a part of their souls and bodies. Here metaporphoses are constant, corrupting borders and boundaries between species. Many transformations occur secretly within the depth fo the forest. In Summerland the point of view is always ambiguous, submitted itself to a constant movement between reality and surreality. The title of the film refers to "Slumberland", imaginary country visited every night by Little Nemo, a little boy from Winsor Mc Cay's cartoon "Litlle Nemo".

Where does the image come from? From the inside or from the outside? Is it broadcast light or reflected light? Is it TV or cinema? Image and voice recorded during an interview with Kubelka at the (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico in 2012, the year of the “death of cinema”, as the Austrian filmmaker put it. His face was projected on the dead surface of a picture tube and then refilmed from that surface, which was never designed as a projection screen, but to receive the image from the inside. This contradiction between screened image and broadcast image is the contradiction between celluloid cinema and digital cinema. Life (heartbeats) and death (worms).

« The fortune you seek is in another cookie » a dizzying journey around the world in search for happiness as a poetic and political practice. The filmmaker finds himself at the protests in and around Gezi Park, Istanbul, in front of the gates of the Cinecitta in Rome and the streets of Santiago de Chile. Whether in the Atacama desert or a trailer park in California, he attempts to find a description of the universal longing. The collision of image, text and sound finds its counterpart in the seemingly contrary locations and scenes. The Devil's Dance meets the indulgence of astronomical precision and death at the foot of an ocean. The film is stargazing and a quest for meaning. It is a montage of a multi-year excursion that describes the subjective view of the world according to the filmmaker.

It is an "aesthetic experience" of the "information ethics" that misinformates by saturation and converts any event into a "show" of the real. This piece started as "video in progress" during the events that took place in Gaza in 2014. I extracted images from the network of two antagonistic "visions" of the same conflict to be re-signified from the "island edition " or digestion. Not with a "hard" nor "soft" assembly (as claimed Farocki) where the images dialogue between them, they are mounted with the overlap here. The images scream them all at once because every war is a failed dialogue. Building a temporal palimpsest with the aesthetic recreation extracted from information bombing until arriving to almost total abstraction, and invite us to contemplate this spectacle of light and color, as pure reality.

TRISTES DÉSERTS – A ROBOT`S TALE is the filmic-musical result from the baroque- and sci-fi-inspired collaboration between artist Stephanie Winter, tenor August Schram and electronic duo Austrian Apparel. Originating in the idea of an audiovisual realization of M.A. Charpentier's lyrical song "Tristes Déserts" and motivated by the constant interaction of image and sound, a baroque-intergalactic musical short film was developed, in which the boundaries between human and machine, between baroque music and electronic sounds become blurred. In a time dominated by artificial intelligence, the extravagant musical short film tells the story of a lonely baroque robot in a battle between good and evil, recalling the magic of the early cinema.

On this horizon I wander myself about the difference between the essences of nature and of human's artificial, I relive the magical practice through art, and I sink things in this horizon, to let them be remembered or forgotten forever. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axcQwDGgTJg

My cinematic work treats cultural everyday life actions from my homeland in ironically analytic way. Here playful approaches, as possibility of the liberation from social obligations, connected with erotic funny aspects. I mix the social absurdities, which can be read off in these actions, with the European view of a far and strange culture.

When a state phantomizes a population, creating another reality. When history disfigures the face of truth. When my story meets another story. When women disappear without trace. While white and privileged, I witness a repetition of stories. When violence against women's bodies equals violence from the use of words. The bodies of those we do not want to see or hear. From my studio window, I look out and my life crosses theirs.

Originating in the Parisian suburbs, Parkour is a "kinetic" art form that involves jumping walls and other obstacles in urban environments. It also evokes the feeling of weightlessness inherent to big cities but which is gradually disappearing. Schwerelos follows a group of Parkour “tracers" from Vienna and slam artist Fatima Moumouni, who pens a poem on the city and young people’s attitude to life.

[video]: I see, I seized by sight. What I see is transmitted by a media that code/transcribe the visible and the audible in a signal to transmit and restore as just as possible the original message. But in the encoding and retransmission occurs errors and interpretations. Errors are corrected by assumption and habit. But what if errors were considered as a new signal, a new creation from the media? Let us consider that the act of looking modifies and influences the nature of the object itself: is what I see and hear really identical to the original message ? Is this the authentic one? And if not: what is it? What I see and hear is not an obviousness.
