The air streams subjected to musical impulses, run into a listener in spite of his will. Voices are not audible, but they sometimes break through noise of the wind and music. Force of an air influence gives compound psychophysical experiences. Something tries to establish a certain transcendental dialogue which sets in for a moment, but then disappears … At one time the wind accompanied by low monotonous organ noise, brings motionless sitting people to certain unconsciousness, to mad activity: fight is started at the concert.self-productionself-distributionclip Pledge6mn color & b/w stéréo 2006 USAby Ann Steuernagel"Pledge" is a found footage piece created from a collection of obscure, Vietnam war era documentaries. Now, a dying old man, a wildly successful international business tycoon watches one of his free-spirited father’s bizarre videos and talks about his contentious relationship with his late dad. Their relationship was one of art versus commerce ; the love ambiguity and surprise versus the need for order and defined meaning. Then again, this maybe this is just pure gibberish.self-productionself-distributionclip Burning Love II3mn50 color stéréo 2005 Norwayby Jorunn Myklebust SyversenA little boy dressed up as a mix of an eunuch and a geisha is sitting singing and playing the accordion with his father. In some of the scenes the boy has a dog in his lap while he sings and gesticulates. The music in the video is a mixture of norvwegian folkmusic and the boy singing intensely false with improvised texts. There is no traditionnal narration except from the development of the music.self-productionself-distributionclip
